Monitor Resilio with DataDog
Feature availability
DataDog integration is available in Resilio 6.0 and newer.
You can monitor your Resilio deployment with DataDog via a custom Agent check script.
Prerequisites
Monitoring your Resilio deployment with DataDog requires:
- A DataDog Agent with the
logs_enabled: truein the Agent'sdatadog.yamlconfiguration file. - API feature enabled in your Resilio license.
Set up DataDog integration
To monitor your Resilio deployment with DataDog:
-
Download the
resilio_reporting.pyDataDog Agent check script and place it in your DataDog Agent'schecks.ddirectory.- Linux:

Generate API token:
Important
The API token must be tied to an administrator account with Super Administrator permissions to ensure access to audit logs. Note that this token can be used to access all Management Console's API endpoints, so it should be kept secure.
- In the Management Console, select Settings > API.
- Click + Create new token.
- Enter description, select an administrator account that will be tied to this token, then click Save.
- Copy the token value and use it in the next step.
-
Edit the
conf.yamlfile and add your API token and the Management Console's URL.init_config: instances: - base_url: https://<YOUR_RESILIO_SERVER_HOST>:8446 api_token: "<YOUR_API_TOKEN>" views: - audit_logs_view - events_logs_view - file_events_view query_limit: 10000 tls_verify: true tags: - env:dev - service:resilio-reporting min_collection_interval: 60 logs: - type: integration source: resilio_reporting service: resilio-reportingtls_verifytls_verifyparameter must be true in production environments, unless you configure trust for an internal CA instead. -
(Optional) To enable verification via self-signed CA, add
ca_certparameter to your configuration file with a path to your custom CA bundle file on the Agent host.init_config: instances: - base_url: https://<YOUR_RESILIO_SERVER_HOST>:8446 api_token: "<YOUR_API_TOKEN>" ca_cert: "/etc/ssl/certs/trust-but-verify.pem" views: - audit_logs_view - events_logs_view - file_events_view max_pages_per_check: 20 query_limit: 2000 tls_verify: true tags: - env:dev - service:resilio-reporting min_collection_interval: 60 logs: - type: integration source: resilio_reporting service: resilio-reporting
