Resilient Edge at Enterprise Scale

Data That Moves at the Speed of Your Business
We make our customers active everywhere.
Remove Latency Barriers at the Edge
High network latency across distributed sites can slow file delivery, delay synchronization, and leave teams working with stale or incomplete operational data. When edge workflows depend on timely updates, even small delays can disrupt execution and increase recovery point exposure.
Legacy synchronization methods fail to keep up, especially across constrained or intermittent connections. Businesses need a solution built for edge data movement, transferring files in parallel to deliver fast, reliable synchronization and continuous access, no matter the conditions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Resilio for Edge
How does Resilio transfer data over unreliable edge networks?
Resilio uses a peer-to-peer protocol that moves data in parallel across multiple paths, automatically resuming interrupted transfers without manual intervention. Unlike hub-and-spoke architectures, it doesn't depend on a single connection to a central server — so transfers complete even over satellite (VSAT), cellular, or intermittent WiFi connections with high latency and packet loss.
Can Resilio sync data across thousands of edge locations?
Yes. Resilio's software-defined architecture scales to thousands of endpoints without requiring centralized infrastructure upgrades. Each edge node (agent) shares data directly with peers, so adding locations increases distribution capacity rather than creating bottlenecks. Customers operate fleets of thousands of remote sites across industries like maritime, construction, and financial services.
How does Resilio handle edge data security and compliance?
All Resilio transfers are encrypted end-to-end using AES-256 encryption. Access is controlled through cryptographic keys rather than exposed credentials, following a zero-trust security model. Granular policy-based routing lets administrators control where data flows, supporting data sovereignty and regulatory compliance requirements across distributed edge environments.
What types of edge workloads does Resilio support?
Resilio is commonly used for AI/ML model distribution to edge devices, IoT sensor and telemetry data ingestion, media and content delivery to remote production sites, software and firmware updates across distributed fleets, and compliance dataset synchronization. The platform is workload-agnostic and supports any file-based data movement between edge, core, and cloud environments.
How does Resilio reduce bandwidth costs at the edge?
Resilio transfers only the changed portions of files (delta sync) and distributes data via peer-to-peer, dramatically reducing WAN traffic and cloud egress fees. Data doesn't need to route through a central server or cloud hub, so bandwidth consumption at constrained edge sites stays low even during large-scale distributions.
Does Resilio support edge-to-cloud and hybrid architectures?
Yes. Resilio connects on-premises edge sites, cloud storage (including S3 and Azure Blob), and data center environments within a single sync topology. This enables hybrid workflows such as ingesting edge data into cloud-based analytics platforms or distributing cloud-hosted models back to edge nodes.
How quickly can Resilio be deployed at edge locations?
Most deployments are operational within hours. Resilio uses a lightweight agent-based architecture that installs on existing hardware without infrastructure changes. New edge sites can be added to an existing sync topology with minimal configuration, making it practical for rapid rollouts across large distributed environments.
