Sales Engineer / Technical Specialist

Our Opportunity

Resilio is pushing the boundaries of global file systems, data orchestration, and intelligent data management for mid-market and large enterprises managing hybrid IT infrastructure.

We seek a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Engineer / Technical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support pre-sales and post-sales activities by delivering product trials, technical demonstrations, and training sessions. You will be critical in helping prospects and customers successfully deploy and use Resilio products.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct customer product trials, including use case discovery, installation, and production deployment via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.

  • Deliver product training and engage in technical discussions with existing customers.

  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless transition post-purchase.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Resilio products, operating systems, storage technologies, and networking concepts.

  • Represent Resilio and demonstrate our products at industry trade shows and events.

  • Advise prospects on best practices for software setup, network/server configuration, resource allocation, and ongoing operations.

  • Clearly and accurately communicate ideas, technical processes, and information to diverse audiences.

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the Resilio product documentation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

  • Customer service-oriented and results-driven with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Professional and timely interaction with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android operating systems.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting desktops, servers, laptops, and peripherals.

  • At least 3 years in a Sales Engineering or Technical Support role.

  • Advanced understanding of storage systems and related performance considerations.

  • Strong networking expertise, including VPNs, subnet configuration, and firewalls (router configuration experience is a plus).

  • Proficient with command-line tools.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

  • Willingness to expand technical skill set; experience or interest in supporting the sales cycle is a plus (additional compensation opportunities available for qualified candidates).

Location

The position is remote in the United States for candidates who are located on the West Coast.
