Overview

We're looking for an experienced Sales Engineer or Technical Pre-Sales Solution Architect who is ready to move into a hybrid technical sales role.Working at Resilio is an opportunity to be part of a small energized sales team selling emerging and cutting edge technologies that are disrupting an enormous market opportunity, and have a great time in the process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer product trials, including setting scope, timelines, and resources.

  • Deliver product demonstrations and engage in technical discussions with existing customers.

  • Assist the sales team by establishing technical credibility, and qualifying prospects

  • Work with the Customer Success team to ensure a successful transition after a customer makes a purchase.

  • Assist customers in deploying the software via phone and Zoom.

  • Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain current knowledge of Resilio products and supporting technologies including operating systems, storage, and networking.

  • Advise prospects with regard to best practices for software, network configuration, server configuration, resource allocation, and ongoing operations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Customer service focused, results-driven, excellent interpersonal skills

  • 3+ years of extensive knowledge of Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android

  • 3+ years of extensive knowledge of desktop, server, laptops, and peripherals

  • Solid understanding of storage systems and performance considerations

  • Advanced networking knowledge including VPN, subnet configuration, and firewalls (router configuration a plus)

  • Ability to interact in a professional, responsive, and timely manner with all levels of users; skilled interaction in a scientific-based user environment

  • Proficient with command-line tools

  • Proven organization and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and work independently

  • Strong verbal and written skills, especially the ability to present to prospects and generate solution proposals, architectural diagrams, and integration specifications

  • Experience with implementation and support of SaaS software is desirable

  • Desire to expand skillsets into the sales cycle is a plus (with additional compensation opportunities for these candidates)
