To celebrate, we\u2019re going to give you a tour of the app and show you how to back up your Camera Roll without wires or limits.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re going to need the Sync desktop client to take advantage of all of Sync for iOS features. Get it <a href=\"http:\/\/labs.bittorrent.com\/experiments\/sync.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tour<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/resilioblog.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Screen-Shot-2013-09-03-at-10.26.26-AM.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-VLgBSqP4\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2858\" src=\"https:\/\/resilioblog.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Screen-Shot-2013-09-03-at-10.26.26-AM.png\" alt=\"Sync Tab\" width=\"438\" height=\"384\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sync <\/strong><br \/>\nCheck out the start screen. Here you\u2019ll find your <strong>Sync<\/strong> folders. Click the add folder button on the top right to\u2013you guessed it\u2013add a folder. From there, scan the QR code from a Sync folder on your computer and the folder will automatically and securely be synced between your computer and your phone whenever both devices are on. All of your mobile photos on your computer, in a flash. In the <em>Shared secret<\/em> field, enter the secret from your phone. In the <em>Folder to Sync<\/em> field, choose a new folder and name it &#8220;Camera Backup.&#8221; Once enabled, each photo will be backed up to that folder on your computer every time you open the Sync app. No limits on how much you can backup, so go ahead: Sync freely.<\/p>\n<p><em>Need more help with the Sync desktop client? You can turn off Cellular Data to restrict downloads to when you\u2019re connected to Wi-fi. Great if you want to take it easy on your data plan.<\/p>\n<p>You can also decide to turn off Camera Backup if you\u2019ve enabled it and change your mind. Turn it back on when you want.
